MCM Comic Con Birmingham 2024

Another first experience for me this year. On 30th of November I've attended the MCM Comic Con in Birmingham for the opportunity to meet Emma Gregory, the voice of Minthara from Baldur's Gate 3. Not only it is my favourite character from the game but the Magic the Gathering version of Minthara makes for an excellent Commander deck.

As I began collecting other autographs this year I thought it would be a great opportunity to get my card signed by Emma. I've never done a meet and greet with a celebrity so I wasn't sure what to expect, but Emma made it a wonderful experience. She was lovely to talk to about the game and the character, and apparently this was not the first Magic card that she has signed.

Comic Con itself was a good experience and I definitely want to attend more of them in the future. If you get an opportunity to meet Emma, or any of the other voice actors from Baldur's Gate 3, I can highly recommend it.
